Achieving Differentiation by Providing Convenience

265 Energy is a leading provider of alternative energy solutions, including gas and solar options, to households and businesses in Malawi. While the gas industry in the region is competitive, household gas usage has remained low due to various factors.

To differentiate itself in the market, 265 Energy focuses on educating consumers about the benefits and proper usage of gas, as well as providing more convenient purchasing options than its competitors.

Building Engagement Through Educating

Frequent power outages in Malawi have led many households to rely on charcoal for daily energy needs. However, safety concerns related to a lack of knowledge about proper gas usage have deterred many potential customers. Our work with 265 Energy aims to address this issue by developing educational materials that teach consumers about the safe use of gas.

As part of this effort, we also helped to establish and maintain a consistent brand identity for 265 Energy through the development of product packaging, website, digital and print media, and out-of-home collateral.
